Wan Sarimah brings over two decades of experience to her role as the lead of both litigation and corporate teams at Messrs Wan Sarimah & Co. Obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 1999 and gained admission to the Malaysian Bar on March 24, 2000. With extensive experience, Wan Sarimah has overseen a variety of corporate practice, including Mergers & Acquisitions, PFI projects, private equity placement, and cross-border asset disposals. Her expertise encompasses drafting trust deeds, navigating regulatory bodies, conducting due diligence, and preparing prospectuses and circulars for funds managed by Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad, Amanah Mutual Berhad, and Maybank Asset Management. Her involvement also covers the restructuring of PNB Real Estate Investment Trust (PNB REIT) and the substitution of trustees for unit trust funds and bonds under the trusteeship of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad. Furthermore, Wan Sarimah played a pivotal role in a working committee established by Sime Darby Property Berhad, actively participating in the formulation of the business model for concession agreements related to Pagoh Education Hub. This included drafting and negotiating terms with UKAS, Federal Land Commissioners (FLC), and the Attorney General Chambers for the sale and purchase of land and lease agreements. In addition to her corporate practice, Wan Sarimah has been involved in litigation, handling a diverse range of cases, from shareholder disputes for public-listed companies to general, banking, family and estate, conveyancing, and Industrial Relation disputes.
